Seems like you either a rabid fan or a resolutely nose scruncher when it comes to body powder. Maybe with a little more caffeine I could figure out the psychology behind what makes a girl "pro-powder" or "anti-powder". Honestly, I think that I would need a nice cocktail before coming to any sort of conclusion on that topic.
So, anyway, for all you powder girls, let's discuss!
(Non-powder girls, did you see my post about NEW spring scents??? Scroll on past all this business!)
I started using body powder when I moved to Texas. A little here & there to keep the undies comfy. It gets HOT here! No sense in being all sweaty, kwim?
My powder making began after exploring my options...
Off the shelf, I found:
- Baby powder (mmm~ smells like diaper changing time!)
- Medicated varieties targeted at EXTREME body odor and wetness
- Glitter-shimmer-nightmares that leaves the bathroom looking like a fairy crime scene
So what's all that stuff in Super Bad Dusting Powder???
Well, it contains food grade starches for silky application, natural clay and mineral-rich zinc oxide for absorption. Perfect for combating humidity and reducing friction caused by clothing.
Bonus! It's satiny smooth & scented in decidedly grown-up fragrances. Yay!
Powder girls, what's your fav???
PS:
No fairies were harmed in the making of Super Bad.
Have a great day!
